
Inspired by the Blue Ghost Firefly & the importance of insect conservation Blue Ghost is a nostalgic celebration that reminds us of our interconnectedness, embraces our need for transformation & shows us that even the smallest creatures have an important part to play. Dotdotdot is collaborating with leading insect conservation organisation Buglife UK.
Dotdotdot Dance has been creating multi-disciplinary flamenco dance since 2014. Their productions include award-winning production No Frills, In Body; a triple bill originally produced and commissioned by Sadler’s Wells & Re Red; a project about the role of fairy tales in the collective experience of women, developed in residency at the Centro de Coreografía de María Pagés. They have also performed at Flamenco y Mestizos in (Madrid), Buxton International Arts Festival, Sadler’s Wells Sampled Festival 2017 & their Take Over of the National Theatre River Stage 2018, toured with Dancenet Sweden in 2019 & performed at Dancing Nation, Sadler’s Wells’ digital dance festival in 2021.

Magdalena Mannion trained in flamenco for 5 years at Amor de Dios, Madrid. She holds a degree in Dance and Flamenco Pedagogy from CSDMA, Madrid and a masters in Flamencology from ESMUC, Barcelona. She completed an HE diploma in Contemporary Dance at NSCD, Leeds and studied for a year at Merce Cunningham Studio New York. Magdalena dances for the companies Rafaela Carrasco (Nacida Sombra 2017-2022/ Nocturna 2022-) and Adriana Bilbao (2021-). She has performed in the festivals Fiesta la Bulería, Festival de Jerez, Bienal de Sevilla and Suma Flamenca and was a regular soloist at Corral de la Morería and Cafe de Chinitas (2015-2020).
Noemi Luz trained classically at Elmhurst Ballet School and Central School of Ballet and studied with her mentor Yolanda Heredia for 6 years in Seville, Spain. She has performed at many traditional flamenco venues in Spain including Tablao Arenal, La Casa de la Guitarra & Peña la Perla de Cadiz as well as appearing on CanalSur TV, RTVE and the BBC. Choreographic works include The Ugly Truth (Coetani Festival for Experimental Flamenco, Athens) Into Being (Sadler's Wells Takeover of the National Theatre River Stage 2018) and Life, Melvin, is a fish (Teatro de la Maestranza, Seville 2021). She choreographed for La Invisible a short film by Maria Royo and La Tercera Mirada an installation/dance film by Emma Alcalá, two projects addressing domestic and psychological violence.
Nick Rothwell is a composer, performer, software architect, coder and visual artist. He has built media performance systems for projects with Ballett Frankfurt and Vienna Volksoper, composed sound scores for Aydın Teker (Istanbul), Shobana Jeyasingh Dance, AWA Dance and Undercurrent Theatre, programmed physical media sculptures with Simeon Nelson and Rob Godman, live coded in Mexico and in Berlin with sitar player Shama Rahman, collaborated with the body>data>space collective in Prague, Paris and Dresden, written software for Studio Wayne McGregor, the Pina Bausch Foundation and Nesta's FutureFest, and developed algorithmic visuals for large-scale outdoor projections in Poland, Estonia, Cambridge Music Festival and Lumiere (London / Durham).
